The history of time is a long and rich one. What is the relationship between the concerns of the shepherd who relied on the shadow projected by his wooden stick, and ourselves who, after having discovered relativity, no longer quite agree how to exactly define the notion of time?

The birth of time in a Roman « creuset »

This is a tribute to the invention of the clock Eight clocks are arranged as they are emerging, while only the 9th is completed. To celebrate each new hour, the corresponding roman numeral lights up. Location: College Jules Ferry Levallois, (Paris region). Size: 13 m. x 13 m. Materials: enamels from Briare and stainless steel. Installation: 2005.
